What Is HIIT Workout
HIIT is short form for High Intensity Interval Training. It is an interval training with a period of intense workout followed by rest or low intensity workout. This keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat and increases your metabolism for the next 48 hours. This helps you burn even more fat although you are not at the gym! If you are having plateau you would want to try HIIt workouts as they are great to break plateaus.
HIIT workouts are quick. If you don’t have time to do a 1 hour workout you can do a 20 min HIIT and burn the same calories.
There are many exercises that you can do for your HIIT workouts. If you like running you can do 30 seconds of high intensity run and then 30 second rest and repeat this for 20 minutes.
